I hope your friend will enjoy the book, if she decides to download. About Josephine Tey's novels - I couldn't find them on Gutenberg either, but I had a feeling I had another link somewhere and it turns out I did. I don't know if the links still work, but you could try this: https://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/t/tey/josephine/. I think they also have one by Dorothy Sayers, one of the first of her Lord Peter Wimsey books, but I could be mistaken. I didn't like it very much, it was too racist and prejudiced in general.
